0095 – Introvert Hang Out

Introverts will understand: you don't have to talk to or even look at someone to enjoy their company.

  1. Being an introvert, I can relate :3

    1. I’m glad people can relate to our comic~ It means we’re doing slice-of-life right 😀

  2. I miss being able to hang out like this ;-;

  3. This montage gives me the warm and fuzzy feelings due to the acts of kindness and considerateness, such as little gestures such as refilling someone’s tea and cleaning up afterwards. And the ultimate act of thoughtfulness of providing moral support to each other without intruding into the other person’s flow ^^

    1. Mhmm! Actions are louder than words.

  4. This is an actual observed thing that children can do called “parallel play”. Two children will be next to one another, doing their own thing and not even really interacting.

  5. I like panels 3 and 4 best, and this is one of my favorite Ferra moments. 🙂 Took me a while to figure out what Ferra was doing with Zerda’s ear in panel 3. Now I gotta figure out what she’s knitting that has to fit Zerda’s ear. Knitted hoodie?
Is Zerda’s hair braided around her ears, or straight past her ears and then braided?

    1. Her braid starts around the base of her head, just above her neck.

  6. She’s using her ear for a measuring tape 😉

  7. Sometimes it’s just comfortable having another person in the room. You don’t have to constantly do things together, just be there so you know you’re not alone in the world.

    1. You don’t have to hear or see them, but you can feel them and that’s enough.

  8. AAWWWW That’s gonna be ear warmers <3 c:

  9. Not *constantly* interacting, but aware of each other. Doing things WITH somebody doesn’t always mean talking to them. Or even making eye contact. The experience is still improved by being shared.

    1. Even when I’m feeling more sociable, I find constant interaction to be so exhausting. x.x It’s nice when people understand that just because we’re not actively engaging it doesn’t mean we aren’t still hanging out.

  10. My dream afternoon.

  11. It’s even better when they use headphones so you don’t have to listen to what they’re watching 😉

  12. I hate this cause it’s true XD I’m kinda an ambivert and with a select few friends I can socialize easily irl, but usually hanging out results in either this or playing board games(don’t judge me, they’re fun). Or sometimes just letting my friends all socialize while I sleep with my head on someone’s lap. I think they’re onto me secretly being a cat >~>

  13. Thanks, Tootaloo! Was just wondering. I have characters who will start a braid above each ear, split and braid past the ear to rejoin below it before continuing down. Generally called “Battle-braids, and are holdovers from no-so-ancient times where they were used to help protect the ears from swords and knives. 🙂 Panel 4 reminded me of them.
