Still not the spiciest thing she's gotten in that eye!

Toootally haven't done this before. Nope. At least I had my glasses to protect me... >.>

  1. I’ve read where sriracha makers add extra capsaicin to their sauces for a hotter burn. The tanker trucks carrying it are labelled “hazardous materials”.

    1. Capsicum is the main ingredient in pepper spray so I would think so! I would hate to be the driver of that truck x.x

  2. Fort and third panels are the best faces. 💕

    1. This was a great one for exploring facial expressions and displaying emotion :3

  3. poor Zerda :<
i hope she will be ok

  4. It’s moments like this that make me glad I don’t like hot sauce 🙂
Now ask me what HP sauce feels like…the worst thing they ever did was put it in squeeze bottles.

And craft glitter glue…never poke the dried stuff out of the tip witha pin, it might still be under pressure from the kid squeezing it.

  5. Ferra wouldn’t have that problem 😉

  6. OOF ;A;

    Looks like it’s Demoman time

  7. Oh no, poor Zerda! … And poor everyone in fenn-scree range XD

  8. Eye spy pain. Lots of pain!

Capsicum is what makes spicy stuff hot. It exists in many things, from the mild pepperoncini to a Trinidad Scorpion. The difference is the amount, with more obviously being hotter. Pepper spray uses it in a concentrated form to do what it does. The funny thing is how it works. The burn we feel is the chemical triggering the pain receptors in our mouths and fooling them into thinking they’re literally burning. The scary thing is there are companies that create even more concentrated forms than pepper spray for food use. Usually you have to sign a waiver to buy it and the bottle makes sure you know this is not a condiment but an ingredient used very, very sparingly. I saw a food show where a chef took a bottle of that kind of stuff and put a single drop of it in a huge commercial pot, like 30 gallons, full of chili. That single drop, once it was stirred in, would make the entire batch spicy.

  10. Fennec screams are very very loud. I’m amazed the windows are still intact.

  11. No you fool! Don’t look down the barrel! Welp
Loving this comic so far <3

  12. Hey, just a heads up, your RSS feed hasn’t updated in months.

  13. Messmer, that you?

  14. I have carried and used pepper spray for a job once and we all had to be sprayed “to see what it feels like so you treat it seriously”. I decided that if it worked this well on whoever I was trying to make stop doing what they were doing then it was great stuff and should be even stronger. 🙂

  15. That really gotta sting D:

  16. A few years ago at a corporate cafeteria I bought a taco salad. To spice things up I walked over to the condiment bar and grabbed a quart size bottle of Tabasco, turning it over and shook it wanting just a few dashes. The piece of plastic restricting the flow was missing and I dumped several ounces of hot sauce on my salad. A little too much. I drained it as best I could and ate it anyway. Spicy!

  17. Tabasco is 3500 Scoville units. I bought a hot sauce variety pack that ran from about 550 onits to 11,000 units. Needless to say, nothing above 3500 has even been opened.

  18. I generally like “Texas Pete” hot sauce. (No idea the Scoville #.) Partly because I like the taste, but also because it’s called “Texas” Pete, but the corporate office is in Winston-Salem, NORTH CAROLINA. 🙂 🙂

  19. It’s funny, I don’t like the taste of hot peppers or even the smell of them but after being sprayed with pepper spray it didn’t remind me of that at all, it just left a really fresh smell like laundry right off the clothesline but even better…except for the burning, that was like a bad sunburn, but I was expecting it so maybe that made a difference.
